Yes, it's important to keep your own culture. Language and dialects are apart of culture, you should not have to conform or feel out of place because of your own culture and heritage. Globalization ruins the opportunity for unique cultures to shine through.

It is important to establish a diplomatic language to allow for ease in translation, but it should not be an established language to ensure local dialects and languages remain

Dialects are essential because they are part of our identity. They make us unique and give us a sense of belonging. Dialects also help us to express ourselves.
