How would your online friendships be impacted if international communications were taxed to promote local interaction?

I do not hold international friendships, so I would not be impacted. However, I do not believe in taxing international communications.

While I have few foreign friends, most of my extended family lives outside of the US, so I do not believe in taxing international communications.

Taxing international communications could limit global connectivity and cultural exchange, disproportionately impacting those in developing countries who rely on inexpensive communication to stay connected globally.
